LIGHT THE FIRE
Editorial Portrait Photography
Local artist, Strong V, was looking for someone to shoot and design his album art for his new single “Light The Fire“, two hours two we were on the coulee hills in Lethbridge, AB doing a photo shoot in the middle of January. Due to the wind, I wasn’t able to set up any lights with modifiers, so I made use of the best light available, the sun. To add a little more life to the image, we added a prop to the scene. We found a branch laying around and decided it would be awesome to make it a torch in post-production. After we finished up the shoot, I went to work on editing and compositing all the images together in photoshop.
Below you will see examples of the final composite, lightroom edit, and the original photo.
