Solomon DaGreat (Ft. Kassie K.) – Hard Times
After recording Solomon’s single “Hard Times” a few months ago, he was looking to have some artwork created for it. He wanted to incorporate an old image of his family while he was standing in a tunnel praying with them. The only tunnel that I knew of in Lethbridge was in Ravine Park. When we got there, the sun was pretty high, so to get the lighting perfect on Solomon I had him positioned right at the opening of the tunnel which created amazing soft light without using any modifiers.

TIP: When using natural light, take the time to find where the light falls best on your talent, and you’ll have a hard time creating a bad image. When shooting into a tunnel, I found the sweet spot was right at the entrance, right after the harsh direct sunlight.
