Don Raymundo Drinks (PHOTOSHOOT)

Don Raymundo Tequila is Canada’s number one flavored Tequila. Over the years I had the chance to create marketing material, including their drink menu. To create the beach composite, I took a few bottles down to Cuba while on vacation and took a few photos around the resort. I then took photos of different cocktails using a white background and composited them into the beach photos.

The second batch of photos was captured during an event we had with Essence Bartending. They came to the studio and created unique shots and cocktails throughout the night. Before trying them, I took some photos against a white wall in the studio. For the final shot, we set up a black backdrop and used a long exposure to create a silky-smooth flame!

TIP: To help create a good composite and blend two images together try using the “blend if” options in photoshop. A good tutorial on how to use these sliders can be found here (tutorial by PHLEARN.COM)
