Rougies Clique (MUSIC VIDEO)

403 by Rougies Clique was recorded and mixed at my studio (Louis Studios) throughout several weeks. The vocals were recorded though a Bock 195 into an A-designs P1 preamp and recorded into Protools. After the song was completed, I partnered up with Narcona Entertainment to shoot a cinematic music film. The idea behind the video was to create a cinematic short film/music video that follows four young males who take justice in their own hands, and fight to survive through dark times. Everything was shoot in the Lethbridge and Calgary area using a 5D Mark II and Sony FS700. We choose to use for FS700 for it’s slow-motion capabilities at an affordable price. The film was shot over four days, and after long hours of editing, color correcting and adding in all the motion graphic pieces, the film was finally complete and ready for others to view.

TIP: Shooting at 240fps requires both good light (natural light if possible), and a lot of it. Some lights will induce flicker in your shots, making it unusable. A quick work around is to speed the footage up to 120 fps, or purchase third-party software to try and fix the flicker.
